I just got up here yesterday. It’s fantastic.
It’s gotta be, like, 20 degrees cooler up here. My uncle recently got himself a really nice notebook, which I am now using to write this. Oh, and WiFi, which is why I’m writing this outside in the fading light of dusk.
My car is awesome, even though the brakes don’t exactly work.
I have an inkling that could easily grow into a short essay on the criteria used to determine the value of a human being in society. It grew from an incident at my (former! hooray!) job wherein a co-worker indicated a picture of some model online and asked if I thought she was hot. I not only answered in the negative, but actually found the image incredibly amusing (some Victoria’s Secret thing involving feathered wings). She disagreed with me in what was certainly the most animated display of disagreement I have ever personally witnessed. The only conclusion I could draw from her explosive reaction was that she harbors some secret (and, no doubt, perversely unnatural) fantasy life which features feathered wings as a central element. Of course, this is all merely conjecture.
The sun has gone down now, and it is time I retired to the safety of the house. Before I do so, however, I feel I should link to this page, which features some interesting advice on creativity.
